Rumours are flying around that the Taiwanese smartphone giant, Asus is all set to introduce a new gaming phone in the market which will be named the Asus ROG Phone 5. The phone has been previously spotted on various certification websites like China’s TEENA, MIIT and 3C. The phone was also spotted on the GeekBench website with model number ASUS_I005DA. The phone is believed to be the successor to the Asus ROG Phone 3 which was launched last year in July. Though the company hasn’t made any official statements about the new phone, it is rumoured that the new phone will be a flagship model of Asus.

No official news about the phone’s launch date or the pricing is declared by Asus yet. But based on a tweet by a well-known tipster, the new phone is set to launch in India in March.

Based on the rumours, we have come to know that the phone will come with a 6.78-inch display. This will be Asus‘s first phone which will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC processor. The phone is rumoured to come in two RAM variants which are an 8GB variant and a 16GB variant. The phone will run on Android 11 right-out-of-the-box. Based on some leaked images of the phone, the phone will have a triple rear camera setup and a dot matrix Aura Lighting design on the rear, that shows the ROG logo. The primary camera at the rear is rumoured to be a 64-megapixel sensor. The phone is also rumoured to come with a 6,000mAh battery capacity (two 3,000mAh batteries) which will support 65W fast charging.
The dimensions of the phone are 172.834 x 77.252 x 10.29mm.
