Huawei has added a new fitness band to its list of fitness wearables. The new fitness band is called the Huawei Band 6. The band comes with multiple sensors such as Sp02 (blood-oxygen), sleep rate, heart rate and even stress monitor sensor. Along with these sensors, the band also supports 96 workout modes. When connected to a phone, the band can relay various notifications like incoming calls and messages. The band is available in three colour variants. Right now, the band is only available in Malaysia and there is no official announcement made by the company regarding its global launch.

Huawei Band 6 Price

As mentioned earlier, the Huawei Band 6 is right now only available in the Malaysian market. The band was launched on April 3 and is available for sale from April 4. The Huawei Band 6 is marked at RM 219 (₹3,800 approx.) in the Malaysian market. The band is available for sale in Malaysia via Huawei’s online store.

The band is available in three colour variants which are Forest Green, Graphite Black and Amber Sunrise.

Huawei Band 6 Specs

The all-new Huawei Band 6 comes with a 1.47-inch Full-View AMOLED colour display having a resolution of 194x368pixels. The band has a screen to body ratio of 64 per cent. The company claims the screen size of the Huawei Band 6 is 148 per cent larger compared to its predecessor, the Huawei Band 4. The band comes with a UV treated skin-friendly silicone strap. The company claims that the band can run for 10 days on a single full charge along with that the company also claims that the band can run for 2-hours on just a 5-minute charge which seems to be impressive.

The band has various sensors such as Huawei’s own TruSeen 4.0 24×7 heart rate monitor, TruSleep 2.0 sleep monitor and the TruRelax stress monitor technology. The band also comes with a SpO2 monitor for monitoring the blood-oxygen saturation level of its user which is a must-have during the harsh pandemic time. To top it all of the Huawei Band 6 is comes with a menstrual cycle tracking feature. The band can also control the music played by the connected phone. As mentioned earlier, the band supports 96 workout modes, some of which are swimming, running, treadmill, elliptical, rowing, etc.

When connected to a phone, the band can show notifications such as alerts for incoming calls, messages, app notifications and weather updates. The band can also act as a remote for the phone’s camera shutter and also has a side button for navigation support. The band is water-resistant up to 5ATM (50 metres). The band support Bluetooth v5.0 through which it connects to the phones. The band can only connect to the phones which are running on or above Android 6.0 or iOS 9.0.

The dimension of the Huawei Band 6 is 43×25.4×10.99mm and it weighs 25g.

(Note- The menstrual cycle feature and the music player controlling feature only works when connected to Android-based phones. The iOS-based phones don’t support these features at the moment).
