Lava has launched its all-new Lava Z2 Max smartphone in India. The phone seems to be the successor to the Lava Vanilla Z2 that was launched in January of this year. The phone has a whopping display size of 7-inches believed to be targeting the students as the e-learning concept is on the rise due to the current pandemic situations. The phone also comes with a dual rear camera setup and a notched styled selfie camera on the display. The phone is available in a single RAM and storage variant whereas, the phone comes in two colour variants.

As mentioned earlier, the phone is available in a single RAM and storage variant of 2GB and 32GB respectively, which is marked at ₹7,799 making it a budget entry-level smartphone for the Indian market. Currently, the phone is available for sale on popular e-commerce websites such as Flipkart, Amazon and Lava’s very own official website.
The phone is available in two colour variants- Stroked Cyan and Stroked Blue.

The phone features a 7-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 720×1,640 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20.5:9, a pixel density of 258ppi. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone runs on Android 10 (Go edition) right out of the box. The phone is powered by an unknown quad-core MediaTek Helio SOC processor backed by 2GB of DDR4X RAM and 32GB of ROM that can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The phone has a battery capacity of 6,000mAh. The company claims that the massive battery can be charged up within 3 hours and 47 minutes. The company also claims that the battery can deliver 9 hours and 8 minutes of back up while continuously running Youtube videos with full brightness and loudness.
As for the camera, the Lava Z2 Max comes with a dual rear camera setup comprising of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.85 lens and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. Now as for the selfies, the phone comes with an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 notched styled selfie lens on the display.
The phone supports dual Nano-SIM and comes with various other connectivity options such as 4G-VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. As for the sensors, the phone comes with proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and accelerometer.
The dimensions of the phone are 174.7×78.6×9.05mm and it weighs 216 grams.
