The Chinese tech giant, Realme is back again with a new smartphone for the global market. The name of the new phone is the Realme GT 5G. The phone was first launched in China and now, it was relaunched yesterday via a virtual conference for the global market. The phone is available in two RAM and two storage variants. The phone has a triple rear camera setup and a single selfie camera sensor in the front. The phone features a stainless-steel vapour cooling system and it is available in three colour variants.
Realme GT 5G Price
As mentioned earlier, the Realme GT 5G will be available in two RAM and two storage variants. The 8GB RAM + 128GB variant is marked at EUR 449 (₹39,900 approx.) and the 12GB RAM + 256GB variant is marked at EUR 599 (₹53,200 approx.) for the global market. Right now, the phone will be available for sale in select global markets such as Poland, Spain, Russia and Thailand, along with few other countries. At the moment, there is no official news regarding the phone’s India launch.
The phone will also have an introductory price discount offer, the 8GB + 128GB base variant will be available at a discounted price of EUR 369 (₹32,800 approx.) from June 21 to June 25 and the 12GB RAM + 256GB variant will be available for a discounted price of EUR 499 (₹44,300 approx.) in the European market under the Amazon Prime Day sales offer from June 21 to June22.

The phone is available in three colour variants: Dashing Silver, Dashing Blue, and Racing Yellow (vegan leather).
Realme GT 5G Specs
The Realme GT 5G features a 6.43-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display. The display comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a sampling rate of 360Hz. The phone has a screen-to-body ratio percentage of 91.7. The phone runs on Android 11 and its very own Realme UI 2.0 right out of the box. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC processor coupled with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The phone comes with two UFS 3.1 storage variants: 128GB and 256GB. The phone features a stainless-steel vapour cooling system and a Dolby audio system. The phone has a battery capacity of 4,500mAh that supports 65W SuperDart charging (the company claims that the phone can be charged from 0 to 100 per cent in 35 minutes).
In terms of the camera, the phone has a triple rear camera setup comprising of a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. As for the front camera, the phone features a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.5 lens.
The phone has dual Nano-SIM slots. As for the connectivity, the phone has Wi-Fi 6, 5G, 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone has a thickness of 8.4mm and weighs 186 grams.
