Xiaomi Redmi is back in the news again but this time for all the wrong reasons. Many users of the Redmi Note 10 series are facing various performance-related issues. The phone series was launched on March 4 via an online live-streamed launch event by Xiaomi and was available for sale from March 4. We even did an article on it highlighting the specs and the pricing of the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. The series consists of the Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro and the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max and as per the users, all of them are facing various issues. Even the company has acknowledged the issues faced by the Redmi Note 10 series’ customers.

What are the complaints against the Redmi Note 10 Series?

We have found various Redmi Note 10 series users’ to have shared their bad experiences about the phone series on Twitter and we are here to point them out to you. One of the most common issues which the phones’ are facing is screen flickering. A Twitter user had tweeted that his new Redmi Note 10 Pro’s screen has a flickering issue which is most noticeable while using dark mode. Another Twitter user has tweeted about the very same screen flickering issue where he has noticed that the screen flickers while using the 120Hz refresh rate mode but the screen stays perfectly stable on the 60Hz refresh rate mode.

Aside from the screen flickering issue, there are other issues such as a Twitter user complained about his new Redmi Note 10’s touch screen being slow and unresponsive and upon taking it to an authorised Xiaomi Redmi service centre, the service centre executives told him that the touchscreen seems to be defective and it needs to be replaced. Another Twitter user tweeted that one of his friends had bought a new Redmi Note 10 and later noticed that it also had a touch sensitivity issue. He got the phone totally replaced but it seems that even the new phone had the same touch sensitivity issue and an authorised service centre told him to wait for 1-2 months for a software update from the company as this isn’t a hardware issue. Even the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is not an exception, many users have also complained about it having similar issues.

What has the company said in response?

The company responded by accepting all the issues stated above and has said that only 0.001% of users have been affected. The company officials have stated that they are working to find a solution at the earliest. The company is also trying to get in touch with the users on Twitter asking them to get back to them via DM.

Our devices go through rigorous tests with a 10-point quality check, to ensure that we meet the highest quality standards. We are looking into the matter on top priority and regret the inconvenience caused to our consumers.
