The Chinese smartphone giant, Vivo has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market, named the Vivo V21e 5G. The phone has a dual rear camera setup and a notched selfie camera on the display. The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity SoC processor and is available in a single RAM and storage variant. The phone is available in two colour variants.

As mentioned earlier, the Vivo V21e 5G has a single RAM and storage variant which is the 8GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 128GB model is marked at ₹24,990. The phone is currently available for purchase on various online e-commerce websites- Vivo India’s E-Store, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, TataCliq, and Bajaj Finserv EMI Store.
As mentioned earlier, the phone is available in two colour variants- Sunset Jazz and Dark Pearl.
Vivo V21e 5G Specifications
The Vivo V21e 5g comes with a 6.44-inch AMOLED full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1,080×2,400 pixels. The phone runs on Android 11 and Vivo’s very own Funtouch OS 11.1 right out of the box. As mentioned earlier, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC processor along with the Mali G57 GPU. The phone has 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM (software extension support of up to 3GB) and 128GB of onboard storage (expandable via up to 1TB via a microSD card). The phone features an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock. The phone comes with a 4,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. The company claims that the phone can be charged from 0 to 72% in 30 minutes.
As for the cameras, the phone comes with a dual rear camera setup comprising a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens and an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens. As for the front camera, the phone has a notched 32-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture on the display.
As for the connectivity, the phone has 5G, LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and a USB Type-C port. In terms of the sensors, the phone has a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, and e-compass. The phone is 7.67mm thick and weighs 167 grams.
